I went into this game expecting a great and fun shooter. I was a little disappointed and surprised at the same time. I was disappointed by the controls. You can’t go into the options and change them or even figure out what they are if you miss them on the tutorial mission. Of course you can go through it again if you start a new game, but that takes time. Time I don’t feel like wasting on learning the controls again. If it takes more than once, it is too complex. But after experimenting with buttons, you’ll eventually learn them, or at least surprise yourself and accidentally do some things you didn’t mean to. Beware though, you’ll be using the entire controller, I do mean the ENTIRE controller, so if you have little hands, you had better have the S controller. Although if you’re a real man like…per say me, you wouldn’t need a little girly controller.

The one major thing that bothered me about this game was the mini games it put you through. They had no effect on your skill, talent, or anything. It was just to see if you could push the right button when it said to, and push the buttons fast enough. Had nothing to do with the game, no training or fun, just stupid time wasters.

There is however some very cool things about this game that make it stand out among shooters. One is you get to use a dog. Seeing how the guy you are playing is a K-9 unit person, it makes sense you are able to. One thing I liked was the stealth kills you are able to make. These are very painful looking once you realize what he has done. You can also disarm a guy right nest to you. This means you can grab him, twist him around, and use him as a human shield while you cap off his friends. I liked that one.

It was an automatic targeter, but it did let you use a first person aiming sight. I didn’t like it because it wasn’t much help, it took awhile to get it where you wanted, and after that much time, the other guy had already shot you.

The overall game play was pretty fun once you got used to it.

The graphics were kind of odd. I would say it was kind of a 3 dimensionalized comic. I liked it. It was only really noticeable in the story scenes, not so much so during the game.

Now for the part most of all of you are going to read instead of the other guys that read the entire thing. If I were you, I would rent this game before I bought it. Don’t expect much, but go into the game open minded…oh yeah, beware the prison part of the game.
